Skincare has become something of an obsession over the past few years. I've tried out many more products than I'd like to admit within the past year and I believe I can finally say that I have found a holy grail skincare regimen. (For now)
I pretty normal skin not too oily not too dry, however since moving to Kentucky I've noticed that this harsh winter weather is having my skin lean towards dryness. I don't really suffer from acne except for occasional hormonal breakouts. My main goal with a skin care regimen is something that is actually feeding my skin with nutrients and helping improve the overall quality. I have never been more satisfied with my skin and I'd have to say I owe it to these babies!
(1. 2. 3. 4.. 5.)
Most of my routine is carried out in the evening so I'll start there. I use the simple cleansing wipes to take of any and all makeup, I really like these wipes because they don't have any irritants or oily residue.
Then to cleanse I use the DDF brightening cleanser. This product has done wonders to my skin, I've noticed a drastic change as far as diminished pores and my skins tone is much more even all around.
After while my skin is still damp I give a generous spritz of the Caudalíe beauty elixir all over my face and décolleté gently patting the mist into my face.
Then my final step for the evening is to moisturize, I use the BeFine food skin care night cream with cocoa, millet and rice bran. I love the brand as a whole, they use all natural products. However, their night cream is my favorite product.
The final product is the Origins checks and balances cleanser. I only use this in the morning. It is a lovely frothy wash that helps waken up the skin and balances your skin's oil level and dry patches if any. I've found it's also great to combat those nasty little hormonal pimples!
What are your skin care favorites? I'm currently in the market for an eye cream as well, if you have any suggestions let me know!
Love,
